Michael Caridi is a New York businessman whose career has been defined as much by community engagement as by commercial achievement. Born in Brooklyn and raised in Catskill, New York, Caridi has spent decades building relationships across civic, philanthropic, and political organizations while simultaneously developing a substantial record in real estate and business.
He has served on the Board of Directors of the Coalition of Italian American Associations, the Republican Leadership Council, The Forum Club, The National Ethnic and Charitable Organization, and the Italo American Foundation. He is a proud member of the Lumen Institute and a supporter of the New York City Police Foundation and C.O.R.E., the Congress of Racial Equality.
His civic honors include being named Community Mayor of Harlem by the City of New York, receiving the Distinguished Achievement Award, being knighted by the Knights of Malta, receiving an Honorary Doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, and being named Business Man of the Year by the New York City Police Department. He is a member of the NYPD Honor Legion and a recipient of the Italo-American Man of the Year designation.
